Saint Petersburg Suburbs Transport Map
Among the most common questions that tourists in Saint Petersburg ask are: “How do I get to Peterhof?” or “How can I get to Pushkin (Tsarskoe selo)?” Of course, everyone wants to see the famous suburbs of Saint Petersburg. However, getting proper answers to the questions above isn’t easy.
We created Saint Petersburg Suburbs Transport Map in order to make your orientation in the city suburbs a bit easier and your visit there a touch more comfortable. For now it is only available online.
You will learn how to get to Pavlovsk, Gatchina and Lomonosov (Oranienbaum), where to take the trains and buses to Peterhof, Pushkin and Kronstadt with the help of our Map. The Map shows the routes of public and commercial (marshrutka) buses to Saint Petersburg suburbs as well as railway lines. We hope that with our Map you won’t have trouble getting to Peterhof fountains, Catherine Palace and Park in Pushkin, the Naval Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Kronstadt or Pavlovsk park and palace.
We also included the routes of suburban trains and buses to Vyborg, Schlisselburg (Oreshek fortress), trains to Repino, where the world-famous Russian artist Ilya Repin lived and worked for many years, and Komarovo, where such outstanding people as Dmitri Shostakovich, Anna Akhmatova, Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi, Evgeny Schwartz and Dmitry Likhachov resided.
Finally, only our Map will tell you where in the surroundings of Saint Petersburg you can feed squirrels and… bizons! ????
